I don't know what has changed but I have suddenly lost my demos.
Initially when I first started doing them with some kind assistance from the clan, I found that they were saved in - Installed games (G
>COD4>main>demos ( I have a separate hard drive for games)
However for some reason when I take demos now as I did last night for 'Goblin' camping in spawns all game, they do not seem to have saved. The above location is empty and I can't find them anywhere?
Any ideas!

Search your computer for .dm_1 files. if they are there that will find them. Makes sure that you search the entire computer ...
