Question, Is there anyway to recover my profile? Some of my old files did transfer when I tried to back up some of my old files to the new drive. If so, what would I look for in those files? I can start all over but …. Also I just wanted to thank you MAD and gray again for helping me out with this so much. VERY much appreciated

By the way if anyone else has the same problem with their Codwaw or even Cod4 disc, I can give access to an ISO file of my disc and access to all patches.

when you download it Right click on it and click on mount
It will then be a virtual dvd drive and you can install it from "This PC"
As you can see in picture

I have made an ISO file of my Call of Duty WAW dvd. It is 6.95gb
I have uploaded it to my Onedrive
I can send you a link to it for downloading.
You can either mount the image or burn it to disc.
Then install it using your cdkey.

Is this something you would like to try?

Well men I'm happy to report after much help for you guys and more than a few "how to" youtube vidoes (didn't want to bug you guys to much) I can report that I now have a great running Windows 10 - 64bit system!! I had to wipe my drive to get the win 10 -32 bit off before I could put the win 10 -64 on. Sheesh!! Now I'm just re adding the programs I need or want. My W@W DVD is to scratched to load. Found only one copy for sale from Walmart. Ship it.... I thought I back it all up but it won't load. But for right now after DAYS of sitting in front of this thing waiting for shit to load. Geeez... But I'm Happy now! :D

Glad it was a simple mistake, sorted now though. Next step go into BIOS advanced and set the AI overclock to XMP will set memory to correct values. Then install windows good luck :D

OK I found the problem. It was me. I left a mounting bolt(?) on the case that was shorting out the board. Got it off and it fired up. Getting this on the screen. What's my next move?

I thought this was a new board !. With no battery what the hell !
Make sure 8 pin is connected right way round.

Try your old graphics card. What monitor you using what resolution ? Connect to TV using PC mode if available. DVI can be flaky needs to be a single link DVI_A or DVI_I . But as Mad said vga is best as they just default to 4:3 if vga socket available.

UEFI can be a pain in the you know what.
Any beeps coming from boot up or diagnostic leds. try it with 1 stick of ram make sure it's in the correct socket. If no battery in it should of reset bios, but no harm in doing that manually. I assume your gpu requires no power from power supply ! Cpu fan connected to the board. Standoffs are connected correctly no short causing problems. thermal paste applied ! Finally have a good look at CPU make sure there is no bent pins on it.

If in doubt. Take every thing off and start again and there is reassuring click when everything attached.

Here's the manual

OK, I noticed it didn't have a battery. So I put one in from the old board. The 8 pin is in. I hooked up though the DVI port. Still nothing. Not a blip on the screen.... Could the CPU got screwed up when I had it in the other board?
