So the updates to my PC haven't worked out too well. Running off a Geekom mini to do daily web surfing, etc., for now. I have been given the OK by the finance department. (wife) to buy a new gaming unit, (she's tired of seeing me go through game withdrawals. lol). So what's a really good pre-made PC? And how hard is it to migrate my old hard drive (win 10) to a new PC? Or can I add it as a second drive and use it as a first boot? Thank you.

Firstly whats the budget ?

Why prebuilt and not build yourself ? I have found that 9/10 times it works out cheaper building it yourself and you can set it exactly how you want it.
go big m8 if i was you;) ;) ;)

Nah, she's just tired of seeing you full stop.

I would strongly urge you to start from scratch with your hard drive and use Windows 11. Windows 10 goes end of life in October, so no more security updates and you would be asking to get hacked. Also if it really is a hard drive, rather than an SSD, they are SO SLOW. It's a bit painful starting from scratch but it will be so more reliable if you aren't carrying the baggage from loads of old software installations.

Ignore Awol. He spends so much time building his PCs, he never plays. Building you own is fine if you know what you are doing but I would never recommend it to someone who's not experienced doing it. If you do still want to go that route, my son uses a website that helps you get the best balance of components for a particular budget, I will get the details and post it when I have it. It might also be useful for checking the spec of any pre-built PCs you are looking at.

Ignore Boots too. The man has so much money he has a bar in his shed. Doesn't know what it's like for the rest of us.

Start with a budget and when you have had a look around you could post some links to anything that you like the look of to see if people have any comments.
mesh computers best for me m8;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

If you go as big at Boots did and y'all live close, they will have to build a new nuclear power plant to supply power to the both of you. :D

Thanks, all. I didn't check the thread because I had no notifications that anyone answered. So I went with this after checking lots of reviews.

Skytech Gaming Azure 3 Desktop PC, Ryzen 7 7700X 4.5 GHz (5.4GHz), NVIDIA RTX 5070 12GB, 1TB Gen4 NVMe SSD, 32GB DDR5 RAM 6000 RGB, 850W Gold ATX 3 PSU, 360mm ARGB AIO, Wi-Fi, Win 11

I hope it sounds like a halfway good one because it will be here today.

I have built my own in the past, but they NEVER work the way they should. Mostly because I have a gift that way, I guess.

Now, how can I copy or migrate some of my old M.2 drive programs to the new PC, like COD? Again, thanks for the help. I'll check the thread this time and not wait for notifications. Cheers!
no idea what I am gonna do as my computer says it nicht gut for Windows 11 :( I may have to smash it up or pack it all in

That's what started all of this Wildcat. Win 11.
You could have just moved your existing m.2 onto the new motherboard ?? Set the existing drive as the primary in the bios , if its win 10 you can then opt to upgrade to win 11 free. Format the new m.2 as a games drive or just storage

@Wildcat: Use Rufus to create a Windows 11 installation media on an USB stick. Rufus has options that allows you to install Windows 11 on older computers. https://youtu.be/X1pOfcYrGVY?t=302 I also disabled the Bit Locker encryption.
