"Destruction of Alderaan" Scene STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE (1977)

PLOT: The Imperial Forces -- under orders from cruel Darth Vader (David Prowse) -- hold Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) hostage, in their efforts to quell the rebellion against the Galactic Empire.
